The country with “unity in diversity” People in India are from different religious convictions and traditions survive with the fortitude as one.

“India is the cradle of the human race, the birthplace of human speech, the mother of history, the grandmother of legends, and the great grandmother of tradition. Our most valuable and most constructive materials in the history of man are treasured up in India only”. India is the seventh-largest country in the world by its area and Second-largest in its population in the Asian continent. India is located in south-Asia and is bounded by oceans on its three sides. The Indian Ocean in the South, the Arabic Ocean in the South-West, and the Bay of Bengal in the South-East. The neighboring countries of India are China, Nepal, and Bhutan towards the North, Bangladesh, and Myanmar towards the East, and Pakistan towards the West.

India is a place with various cultures, traditions, castes, creeds religions. People speak different languages and possess many different features, but finally, they reside in the Motherland with unity. Various religions like Hinduism, Islam, Christianity, Buddhism, Sikhism, and Jainism survive in India.

The National Language of India is Hindi. The National Animal is The Bengal Tiger. National Bird is the Peacock. National Flower is Lotus. The National Fruit is the Mango.

The Indian Flag consists of three colors they are: Saffron at the pinnacle signifies Strength, White in the center indicates Peace, and Green at the underneath signifies Fertility and Growth. The Ashoka Chakra has presented in the center of the flag in the white color which consists of 24 spokes in the chakra. India’s National Anthem is “JANA GANA MANA” and the National Song is “VANDE MATARAM” And the National Sports in Hockey. The Capital of India is New Delhi.

India got its Independence on the 15th of August in the year 1947. India has 29 states and 7 union territories. India shares the land with its vicinity countries like Nepal, Bhutan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Myanmar, and China.

India is a country that is a reservoir for many natural resources and minerals. India is the largest producer of Mica. Iron ore, Bauxite, aluminum, and coal are also produced in hefty amounts.

India is a land with many landscapes and monuments. Many historical testimonials like the Taj Mahal, India Gate, Qutub Minar, Red Fort, Hawa Mahal, and also many other places also inherit History. Taj Mahal is a monument that is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. India is also the origin of many great scholars, scientists, saints, reformers, the manifestation of God. The immense epics like Mahabharata and Ramayana have their origin from India, they are in form of manuscripts. India is also known as “BHARAT”.

India is a Democratic Country

India is a secular self-governing country. People have the freedom and right to elect their leaders for an enhanced nation. The parliament has a governing system, The President of India is the nominal head of the country. The Prime Minister of India is the authentic head of the nation. All the powers are conferred to the Prime Minister.

People have the right to freedom of opinion and expression, the rights include the individuals have the freedom to embrace opinion without hindrance and to seek out, accept and inform information and ideas.

India is a Nation With Biodiversity

The climatic conditions in the nation are feasible for plants and living creatures. The nation is rich in its diversity. It is home to a diverse range of flora and fauna.

Clothing of Indians

India is a country with various religions and customs. Each tradition has its method of dressing. Every attire is best on its own. India is mostly recognized in dressing for Saree. The tradition of Indian women is depicted in the 6-meter cloth. Where are the men exhibit their culture mostly in the Dhoti-kurta?

Agriculture in India

Agriculture is carried out by people leading a life in Villages. They depict the portrait of real India. Most of the Indian population resides in Indian Villages. The Farmers are the Pride of India. The country is dependent on the farmers. Indian economy is also dependent on Agriculture. Farmers are the pillars for good progress in the field of agriculture.
