Long Essay on Health and Fitness for Students and Children

Health is the state of being free from illness or harm, and Health is not only about physical well-being but also about mental and social wellbeing. Health and fitness go in a parallel line. Being healthy doesn’t mean doing exercises regularly but it’s about having sufficient sleep, drinking more water, taking nutritional food, etc.,

To lead a happy life we must be in good health and fitness. Many people because of their busy life habituated to eating junk foods that cause obesity, depression, cancer, heart diseases, digestive issues, etc., but they do not understand that their health is more important than a busy life. Our body must be healthy to function correctly. Taking a proper and healthy diet helps us to build a healthy and fit body that would be resistant to diseases.

Earlier people used to believe that a person who is physically fit is a healthy person but now the perception has changed that a person who is physically and mentally fit is healthy. Health is not measured by the shape or the size of a person’s body, even a thin person is healthier than a person who is fat. Our physical and mental health are co-related. Your mental illness harms physical health and vice-versa.

You have to do a favor yourself, you are responsible for health and fitness. No technique in the world will give you health and fitness. Only a balanced diet and physical workouts help you to be healthy and fit. Holistic growth can be achieved if we focus on all aspects of our health. Such as nutrition, wellness, spirituality, and mental health.

To lose weight and stay fit many people go for the wrong diet They follow many unhealthy diets and eat less food than their body needs. They think that eating less food would help them to stay fit and healthier. Consuming less food causes slow metabolism and that leads to gaining more weight. Because our metabolism is greatly responsible for our health and fitness. Better metabolism would mean a higher absorption of nutrients into our bodies. Slow metabolism absorbs fewer nutrients into our bodies. To have a better metabolism one should do physical activity well and should intake proper diet fruits, vegetables, protein foods, and the foods that contain more vitamins, minerals, nutrients, fiber, and carbohydrate-rich foods, etc.,

Health is a state of complete physical, mental, and social not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. Fitness helps a person to control weight helps to maintain good insulin and sugar levels, reduces the risk of heart diseases, strengthens bones and muscles, improves sleep, etc.,

It is our responsibility to maintain good health to be physically and mentally healthy, fit, and diseases free life. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has initiated the fit India movement scheme to encourage Indians to inculcate healthy and fitness activities in their daily lives to pave way for a healthy and fit lifestyle.

Physical Activity+ Proper diet = Health and Fitness. A person with good health and fitness lives his/her life to the fullest. The person who maintains health and fitness is less prone to various diseases. Being fit doesn’t mean doing workouts the whole day in the gym and eating less food but leading a stress-free life with a balanced or proper diet and regular physical activity or exercises.

Persons who are physically healthy and fit can maintain a relaxed state of mind. Nowadays people are more aware and desire for their health and fitness. Men need a muscular body and women need a slim body. Many people are struggling much to have a perfect body. Studies have proved that people who are healthier and fit earn greater success in life.
